The Boerne Chamber was honored to celebrate 50+ years of service from The Sisterdale Volunteer Fire Department with a special ribbon cutting ceremony today! 🎉🚒
 
The Sisterdale Volunteer Fire Department was established on April 20, 1975, and is located in the center of Kendall County. SVFD is one of the largest fire districts in the county and supports one of the fastest growing counties in Texas, covering nearly 150 square miles. Their department maintains and operates a total of 9 Fire Apparatus including the only Air Apparatus in Kendall County. Their brave volunteers are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with other departments assisting in all wildland, structural and commercial fires in the community and throughout the county.

SVFD’s mission is made possible through community support. Be sure to mark your calendars for their annual fundraisers on August 8 and November 14, two important and fun ways to help ensure they can continue protecting our community.
