First United Methodist Church’s 150th Anniversary

We had the honor of celebrating First United Methodist Church Boerne’s 150th Anniversary today with a special ribbon cutting ceremony! 🎉✂️

For 150 years, FUMC Boerne has been a cornerstone in our community, living out its mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. The United Methodist Church is a worldwide denomination that opens hearts, opens minds, & opens doors through active engagement with our world. 🩵

FUMC offers both Contemporary (9:30 AM) and Traditional (11:00 AM) Sunday worship services, with music led by their Praise Band at 9:30AM and the Choir & Handbells at 11AM, in a welcoming environment where everyone belongs.

FUMC serves families in many ways, including:
🎶 Family Music classes for babies and toddlers
🏫 FUMC Boerne Preschool programs with a curriculum rooted in Christian values
🥞 Youth ministries with weekly breakfasts, small groups, and Wednesday Night gatherings

🎃 Community events including the annual Pumpkin Patch & Garage Sale

You’re invited to join them this Sunday, September 28th at 10 AM, for their 150th Celebration Service, followed by meal packing for Rise Against Hunger, burgers, inflatables, and fellowship with the FUMC family.
